WHAT ARE PDO THREADS?

PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads are surgical threads made from Polydioxanone, which is a biodegradable synthetic polymer. The absorbable polydioxanone suture has outstanding flexibility and effective lifting and tightening effects. Once inserted into the skin tissue, it helps to rejuvenate the overall appearance of the skin. The main advantage of PDO sutures is that PDO is biodegradable and will be degraded by hydrolysis over a time of 6 to 8 months, and the rest is emitted by urine.
Furthermore, the degradation helps to stimulate the production of collagen, which supports the lifting effects and improves the skin tone.

Insert PDO Threads in uniform direction into dermis layer to lift the muscle to give resilience to skin and activate fibroblast.

WHAT ARE PLLA THREADS?

PLLA threads are a relatively new option for thread lifting to obtain a more youthful apperance. Instead of PDO, these sutures are made of PLLA (Poly L-Lactic Acid), a biodegradable material with high bio-absorbability. PLLA Threads are resorbable and regenerate more collagen over time than PDO threads. Furthermore, PLLA threads have better tension and elasticity than PDO threads, while stimulating more fibrosis.

The sutures contains barbs that are designed to hook to the tissue to increase volume, provide lifting effects and restore the facial shape.

The mono series is an effective treatment for facial lifting and wrinkle removal through self-stimulation of cell. Mono Threads are designed with a sharp needle making this an easy treatment for remodeling facial contours with immediate and long-lasting results.

Screw Threads are developed with a more advanced technology than the mono lift. The Screw Threads are designed with two twisted mono sutures that are wrapped around the needle. Its spiral shape gives the thread a number of unique properties such as a more powerful lifting effect and a more intensively stimulation of the collagen and elastin formation.

The COG 6D Thread is developed with 6-dimensionally bards, which are placed in 9 different directions to fix the tissue and to achieve powerful tightening and long-lasting lifting. This treatment is ideal for treating sagging skin tissue and to redefine facial contours with maximum lifting effects.

The COG Dual Arm is designed with a V-Loc suture including two needles at the end of the thread with 360° helical barbs, making the thread stronger and more stable with a longer-lasting result and a more visible lifting effect. The COG Dual effects is used for precise contouring and lift.

The COG Ultra+ consists of two parts, the COG part and the grip part. The COG part is both inside and outside of the needle. The inside COG thread is bi-directional with barbs facing forwards and backwards and outside another forward-facing COG thread is twisted around the needle and extended to a grip part.

The COG Heart Lifting Thread is developed with an L-type needle and cone configuration carbs along the thread making the treatment ideal for reshaping and lifting the surface of the skin. Furthermore, the Heart Lifting thread is uncut, which gives the thread the best fastening and tensile strength.

The Eyelid Thread, also known as Rainbow i, is a PDO lifting thread in a U-cannula specially designed to sculpt and lift the area around the eyes.

The PLLA COG Thread is designed with an L-type Cannula allowing a smooth insertion into the SMAS layer. The suture contains barbs that are designed to hook to the tissue for great lifting effects and is ideal for small areas of sagging skin.
