VI PRP-Pro Gel Tubes 9ml
VI PRP-PRO Gel Tubes are designed for fast and safe preparation of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for medical and aesthetic treatments. They are suitable for a wide range of procedures such as hair restoration, skin rejuvenation, and orthopedic applications including wound healing and bone injuries.
Each tube allows the collection of approximately 9 ml of blood and contains sodium citrate anticoagulant together with a high-purity thixotropic separation gel. During centrifugation, the gel enables a clear and precise separation of platelet-rich plasma, platelet-poor plasma, and red blood cells, ensuring a consistent and reliable PRP concentration.
The tubes are made from high-quality borosilicate glass and are free from micronized silicone, which helps prevent unwanted platelet activation. With a PRP yield of up to approximately 4–4,5 ml per tube, they support efficient and reliable treatment workflows in clinical practice.

Technique & protocol for VI PRP-Pro Gel Tubes 9ml - with anticoagulant:
- Draw approximately 9 ml of venous blood from the patient and fill it into the Vi PRP-PRO tube
- After blood collection, gently invert the tube 7 times to mix the blood with the anticoagulant (sodium citrate)
- Place the tube in the centrifuge and ensure the rotor is balanced (use a counterweight if necessary)
- Spin for 7 minutes at 1200 RCF (g)
- Carefully extract the PRP using a sterile needle, e.g., 25G, 42 mm long, without disturbing the gel barrier or the lower layers (e.g., leukocytes)
- The collected PRP is now ready for use
Important:
- Do not insert the needle into the separating gel. If the needle touches the gel, the product must not be used
- PRP tubes must not be resterilized
- The collected PRP should be used within 4 hours of centrifugation
- The tube is intended for single use only and must be disposed of properly after use
