Technique & protocol - female intimate area:
- Before injection, disinfect the treatment area thoroughly with an antiseptic solution
- Topical anaesthesia should be applied to the treatment area prior to injection
- Recommended dose: up to 1 ml per session, depending on individual patient needs and clinical assessment by the medical professional
- Recommended injection technique: dot-to-dot technique
- Injection device: 27G x 1/2’’ needle
- A touch-up may be required 30 days after the initial session
Precautions:
- Do not inject intravascularly
- Temporary injection-related reactions may occur, such as pain, itching, swelling, or redness
- Patients should be advised to avoid sexual intercourse for 72 hours post-treatment or until swelling and redness have fully resolved
- Avoid exposure to intense cold and UV radiation after treatment
- Avoid aesthetic procedures (e.g. laser, chemical peel, dermabrasion) until all previous treatment effects have fully resolved
